Christmas Finally

Christmas Day we spent up at Frank's. We went to my mom's on Saturday the 2nd and spent the day with Mom, Stefanie, Grandma, and Sarah. On Sunday the 3rd, Dad and Stefanie came to our house. It worked out that Dominic and Kyle were able to join us for all 3 Christmases. We had a great holiday, and of course the best part was having Sadie with us for her very first Christmas.

Three Months Old

Sadie turned 3 months old last week Tuesday. I can't believe how much she is growing! She is really starting to become a little person with her own unique personality.

She loves taking baths. I think she just likes being naked in general, but the bathtub is the only place she gets to be naked for very long.
Apparently if you don't use the flash in our bathroom, your baby looks like an Oompa Loompa!
I love all her expressions. I don't even remember what she was looking at that was so fascinating, it was just such a cute picture.
Everybody is getting ready for Christmas, even Miller!

Here's the view from our patio door onto the deck the morning of the blizzard. Yes, this was taken BEFORE it continued to dump 16 inches that day.
This is from Sadie's first parade. There was a Christmas parade going by only a short block away from our house, so we bundled up and walked down. She slept through the whole thing, so we just waited until the Big Cart went by and then we went home.
Sadie is really starting to work on sitting. Apparently Dad thinks that riding Miller will help with that!

She's starting to hold herself up pretty well in her Bumbo. At first she could hold her head up, but her body would slouch to the side. She really likes this Santa Claus, too. He's fiber optic so the lights change color.
She can sit pretty well in her Boppy, but usually doesn't really care for it.

Apparently she feels like learning how to crawl already too. Here she's leaning on the foot rest of the couch. She was able to notch her feet in the fold of the cushion, and almost launched herself off the end! Dad was watching her closely though. She's just so cute because she's watching the Packer game here... she really likes watching the TV. I think the 65 inches of light and motion make it pretty eye-catching!

Two Months Old

(Today's post by Sadie Kox)
I'm such a good eater, I finished my whole bottle!Look at how proud of me Dad is!
Here I am in one of my favorite spots - my changing table.

Mom is so silly, I stuck my tongue out at her!Where's my bottle?
I'm two months old today! I'm ready for my kiss!I can't believe I'm two months old already! Seems like just yesterday I was in Mommy's belly! I'm really getting good at holding my head up and responding to lights and music. I can almost roll over on to my belly, but I can't figure out yet how to get past my arm. Sometimes I can sleep through the night, like last night when I slept from 1030-6. That's because I spent the day with Grandma yesterday, and everybody came to visit and kept me awake! That made Mommy happy because it was the first night in several that I didn't wake her up at 330am! I go to the doctor on Thursday, I can't wait to see how much I weigh!

Halloween and Great-Grandma's Birthday Weekend

Here's my little sweet pea in her peapod!

I had to work on Halloween, but Dad was on vacation, so he brought her down to my store for her very first Boo Fest!

Miller was a banana, but he didn't get to go anywhere. We just dressed him up for fun.
Barb and Brad, Renee and Jocelyn, and George and Peggy all came to Neenah for Grandma's birthday. This is the monkey that Barb made for Sadie.
Sadie must be able to tell Renee is a mommy too, she fell right asleep on her!

We finally got our four-generation pictures!
