Pool Time

This year we set Sadie's pool up on the deck, along with a bunch of other stuff!  She doesn't really like walking in the grass barefoot, there's less bugs, and it gives her an even surface to sit, and walk, on.  We went out today, since it was so beautiful out, and she wanted to bring Baby with her.  And yes, Baby is a stuffed doll, not plastic!

Miller ran out of food, so Sadie helped me clean out his food bin and refill it.  She made sure that every morsel was saved- certainly don't want to waste any food!

There were actually probably 30 wipes all bunched up and strewn about- Baby must have had a really big poop!

Accepted

I just got my acceptance yesterday for the Masters in Business program at UW-Oshkosh. Yay!  They have an extension here in Green Bay now, so I can either take classes there or online.  I'll take my first class this fall.  I can't wait!

Spring is Here

 Spring is finally here, let the fun begin!

We brought out the play house and got to use it for a few days...

Then it got cold again.

Once the snow melted, we had our own little pond.

And it was already Easter!

There were a couple days that were warm enough for spring pajamas- I can't believe how much her hair has grown in the past few months!

Then it was chilly again for the March for Babies, but we braved the weather and Team Festival had a great time!

Spring means summer is just around the corner, and in only about 4 weeks Sadie will be spending a lot of time with Aunt Steffie.  We needed to get another car seat for her to use, and of course the best part about that is getting to play in the box!

My camera has a touch screen on it, and Sadie has figured out how to scroll through the pictures and take pictures using the touch screen.  Here are some shots she took-

This one I was trying to get her to take a picture using the normal shutter button while the camera was facing her, so she couldn't see the screen, but she didn't want to sit still for it.

Our New Bad @$$ Car

So Dominic chose to take co-op next year, which will require him to be able to have transportation during the middle of the school day, which means he will need to take a car to school every day.  Since I did not want him bringing my car to school as long as I owned it, he was told he would have to purchase a car (or my car) or find someone else who would let him bring their car to school.  He opted to find someone else.  His other grandpa had an extra truck he was willing to let him use, leaving us with 4 vehicles for 2 drivers.  So we decided to sell the Impala (that Dominic was driving) and the Grand Am (that was Kevin's every day car).  The Grand Am sold within 24 hours to a dealership looking for used cars to sell in their lot.  The Impala... is still waiting.  I feel like she's the runt of the litter that nobody wants. :)  Since Kevin's car sold quickly, he rearranged some money and got some help from his Dad to buy his new car to replace the Grand Am- a 2010 Chevy Camaro... and here it is!

I love rock n roll

One of our favorite things to do is play Rock Band- and Sadie likes to dance, play, and sing along!

She has also become a pro at taking her socks off- thank goodness it will be warming up soon!
