I added Stefanie's baby chair too. I wasn't sure if I'd have enough room until the crib was actually in place.

Baby's Room

And what we have done so far...
Kevin did all the painting on his last day off before working 10 straight days for Cookiefest. I added the furniture we already owned... the bookcase that was in my room when I was little, my rocking chair from when I was little, and an end table that I don't where it came from.
Most of the stuffed animals are technically mine, the puppy on the chair is the only one actually given to the baby so far, from Mom. I guess I'll have to start calling her Grandma soon! And then I guess Grandma will actually be Great-Grandma!! Hope that doesn't make you feel too old, Grandma, maybe we'll just go back to MeMa!
Now I can't wait for the crib, dresser/changing table, and my rocking chair to come in so I can finish it up!

26 weeks

Belly today at 26 weeks...
This Monday will be the 2/3 mark - I can't believe I only have 3 months to go! We signed up for a birthing class at the hospital, but the earliest time we could go was August, only a month before I'm due. We also still have to work on finding a pediatrician and day care. We got Dominic moved down to the basement, so the baby's room is currently empty. I cleaned, and Kevin's going to paint, and we're going to go buy our crib and changing table this weekend. My current baby is due for a haircut this weekend also... it's a little hard to see, but this is the mohawk Kevin gave him the other day.
His hair is so thick and grows so fast, just the opposite of mine. I'm jealous of my dog's hair... how sad is that??

I guess we'll give it a go

Well, I'm not one of many words, as those of you who get emails from me know, but Mom requested that I start a blog, so I'll make an honest attempt and see how it goes...

Our lives aren't overly exciting, so it will probably be mostly baby updates, but I'm sure that's OK.

Here I am at 21 weeks. This was taken the day after the ultrasound.

We did also find out that we are having a girl. We asked the sonographer to not let us know if it wasn't clearly obvious, and she didn't hesitate to tell us, so we trust that she was pretty sure. Obviously they can't guarantee it, so we are still doing some things neutral just in case, like the room.
